I confess. today, I did not write a poem. I came home and began to work on a novella that has been screaming for my attention all month. Lest I leave you longing, please allow me to share a previous work. This is my favorite poem that I have written.

Aim High by Wendi S. Harrington[/caption]
Aim High
Rainbows and wishes,
Waterfalls that glisten
Down snow-covered mountains
That I’ve yet to climb.
Dark clouds, once looming,
Far away, now moving.
The shadows recede
And in comes the light.
Beauty surrounds us
Where sorrow once was.
And the tears that have fallen
Have had time to dry.
Come! Let me show you
How dreams are unfolding.
And miracles happen,
If you dare to aim high.
