Moments

For a moment,

The world held joy and wonder.

New life rested

Safe in the arms of his mother.

In a moment,

The world was changed and broken

As fire consumed,

And precious life was stolen.

Arms wide open

To welcome you and baby

Home with Jesus

For all eternity.

Dedicated with a heavy heart to my beloved niece Chasity Nicole Cox and her baby, Eli.
